9/23 Call The Sandman

Set in a boring and bureaucratic version of NYC, former lovers Izumi and Alex go about their mundane existences while quietly refusing to give into mandates of the new dystopian society – namely undergoing a surgical treatment that renders the brain incapable of dreaming. A mysterious company called the Sandman Corp., led by the equally enigmatic Dr. Esperanza Haddid, boldly claims to have developed a technology to create alternate realities or dreams by scanning people’s’ memories. Alex and Izumi set out to find Dr. Haddid in hopes of revisiting feelings that have been hidden for years.

Lou Blackmon is from El Salvador. He started working as a camera op in Atlanta before moving to New York City after college. In addition to narrative films, he has directed music videos, branded content and commercial films. His favorite film is Blade Runner!

Taylor Tote's new music video for her latest single, "I Like U But..." is quirky and funny while staying real and relatable. Coming from immense heartbreak, Taylor reminisces on unbelievable moments in her love life that lead her into writing this song. Following the video will be a talkback by a storyteller's set going into more detail about her songs and why she wrote them.

The 27-year old Jersey Shore native, now residing in NYC, was named by as one of the "25 Mus-Hear Local Bands" for her "big voice and old soul" style. The Asbury Park Press listed her in "The 9 Jersey Shore Bands You Need to Hear." Tote has taken herself and her band around the US as well as going on tour with soul performer, Remember Jones, providing lead vocals, background vocals, choreography, and songwriting. With her unique, upbeat, and soulful original songs, Taylor Tote is a true gem, a powerhouse singer not to be missed.
