Indigo Soul NYC is excited to present in collaboration with Jen Fajardo our studio’s first ever series of Fashion Week events taking place at our photo/video studio and event space, Indigo Soul NYC: The Light Room. The week will consist of professional fashion shows and exhibitions from incredible, cutting-edge Mexican designers paired with workshops and panels on pertinent aspects of the fashion industry over the course of September 8th to the 12th as part of NY Fashion Week SS23.
We will be partnering with top fashion schools to produce the workshops, talks, and panels as part of the Indigo Soul NYC: Fashion Immersion Program and make them accessible to fashion students, professionals, and enthusiasts in both Mexico and the US, both in-person and live-streamed.
Jen will be leading a thorough curriculum featuring special guests from the fashion industry that pose a force to move the future of fashion forward.
We are also thrilled to announce that we will be live-streaming all of the shows for virtual attendees in Mexico, the US, and around the world to be able to watch the awe-inspiring unveiling of the incredible collections with their friends and family from the comfort of their homes. In addition, we’ll be hosting an intimate in-person “Fashion Immersion Program In Mexico Viewing Event”, at Meridiano Zero (Merida, Mexico), on Monday, September 12th, where attendees will be able to experience all of the panels, workshops, and talks from throughout Indigo Soul NYC: Fashion Week. Our goal is to make all of our programs happening in NYC accessible across the world and to inspire the next generation of designers and creatives.
Indigo Soul NYC:
Fashion immersion Program
The objective of this initiative is to create a collective community of designers, artists and professionals from both New York City and Mexico to inspire cross-cultural collaborations and creation through a definite time-frame of interaction during Fashion Week. We also hope to establish clear lines of communication between the different communities to maintain a strong relationship post Fashion Week.

Indigo Soul NYC: The Light Room is a state-of-the-art multimedia studio in the newly renovated Brooklyn Navy Yard under studios, entertainment, and media company Indigo Soul NYC. We strive to provide an accessible and open space for the creation of all art forms.
