About

Mission

To empower the arts community of NYC and beyond to create moving art and to develop the future of culture through collaboration with fellow artists from all different mediums, genres, and backgrounds resulting in the spread of empathy.

Story

Indigo Soul NYC is a studios, entertainment, and media company based in Brooklyn and founded by music artist and proponent for the support of the arts Jake Tavill
, alumnus of NYU Tisch's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. Having existed as an event and media production company since 2018, Indigo Soul NYC opened it's first studio, Indigo Soul NYC: The Light Room a photo/video studio and event space in the Brooklyn Navy Yard's newly renovated Building 77, in January 2022 in collaboration with Lou Blackmon and Zachary Grullon from
OddOneOut Productions. Very soon after opening, Indigo Soul NYC began making a name for itself by helping those who joined its community regain faith in themselves, their art, and the future of culture. In September 2022, Indigo Soul NYC will open its second studio, a fully-equipped high-end recording studio, called Indigo Soul NYC: The B Room, only a couple blocks away from their first, at Brooklyn's WRK ART building at 36 Waverly Ave.
