Education

Here in the education department of Indigo Soul NYC we value curiosity, artist support, and learning hands on. We offer an array of programs, internships, mentorships, and opportunities for artists of all disciplines. We also give free tours of the facilities to schools and community programs to inspire young creatives and students. The goal is simple: to empower our community of artists and students to grow and learn in an enriching and safe environment. We desire our programs to support our community and to build educational opportunities that guide our artists to the furthest reaches of potential.

Are you interested in teaching or being a teaching artist? We have some paid opportunities for you. Fill out the form below to learn the skills to pay some bills.

TEACHING ARTIST SPOTLIGHT:
Threading the Needle:
Taking Your Artistic Vision from Concept to Market

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

This 4-part series will provide a detailed roadmap for individuals looking to launch a new product or apparel collection, ultimately taking their creative vision from initial concept to market. This workshop is geared towards students, independent designers, artists, and creative entrepreneurs - this is perfect for anyone who has the “next big idea” in the fashion/apparel space, but isn’t sure where to begin, or which steps are needed in order to build a brand, so they can share their vision with the world.

ABOUT "THE TEACHING ARTIST SPOTLIGHT"

The Teaching Artist Spotlight initiative was created for the artist community by the artist community and gives educator training to artists who wish to utilize their artistry through a teaching lens. These goals are accomplished through mentorship of the spotlit teaching artist and providing a space to teach their craft, while also creating opportunities for the Indigo Soul NYC community to learn from these artists at an affordable rate in an inclusive environment.
